Doug Mewmaw

Peak System Performance LLC
Durango, CO
Doug Mewmaw has worked in the IT industry for more than 30 years. His position as IBMi and AIX Technical Support Manager for Boise Cascade Office products gave him the opportunity to work daily with the Navigator family of products. In 2004 he left this position to become the Director of Education and Analysis for MPG(Midrange Performance Group). He is currently the owner and President of Peak System Performance, a company dedicated to identifying and solving performance issues on IBMi (AS/400, iSeries), AIX, and Linux computer systems. Doug is passionate about customer service and is committed to providing quality analysis and solutions in all areas of performance management.

Over the years, Doug has written many articles on performance management for the IT Jungle, as well as other leading trade journals and newsletters. Both his knowledge of performance management and his insight into the industry give Doug a unique skill set.

This year Doug knocked one huge item off of his bucket list by going to Pebble Beach. A trip to Augusta for the Master’s is the next bucket list goal. Doug is a loyal family man and lives in Durango, Colorado with his wife Cathy. They are empty-nesters for the first time this year. When Doug is not analyzing system performance or golfing, he loves traveling and spending time with his family.
