Brett Murphy’s twitter handle of @PowerMan4Evr is all you need to know about his passion and energy for the IBM Power platform. Long before Brett was recognized as a IBM Power Champion in 2016, he was known as an Evangelist for the platform prepared to witness on the virtues of the platform.

Like a fire and brimstone preacher, PowerMan is a Competitive Specialist and Subject Matter Expert covering the platform itself, AIX, Linux and IBM i. His background and training was built around Unix, picking up Linux along the way yet he would say that IBM I is his favorite OS on Power. “It simply works – the integration between the ISV’s and IBM to develop business solutions which are the most reliable, using the fewest amount of resources and staff to support short of System Z”.

In addition to his day job as an Executive Architect and Client Executive at Ciber, a National IBM Platinum Business Partner you will find him active on twitter, writing papers, on his blog https://powertheenterprise.wordpress.com, SAP Community, ASUG, LinkedIn and IBM Systems Magazine.

You may find him partnering with other IBM BP’s helping them promote the Power platform as well as an active contributor to IBM giving input (solicited & not ) in ways to improve solutions for clients.
